Day 1 Arrival, Check In, Welcome Dinner, Cannon Fire

Our Cuba driver and guide will welcome you at Jose Marti International Airport. On your way to your accommodations, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Plaza of the Revolution

Welcome Dinner at Chef Ivan’s El Carbon Restaurant (Included)
Pamper your senses with an outstanding, family-style welcome dinner.   The menu includes typical Cuban dishes like "arroz con pollo" and "masitas de cerdo."  Chef Ivan uses new recipe ideas from his travels around the world to create his flavorful "Cuban fusion" cuisine.  Join the list of many happy clients including the King of Spain, Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Penelope Cruz, and others!

Cannon Fire Ceremony
Take a drive to the fairgrounds of Castillo de San Carlos de la Cabaña.  A spectacular sunset and view of the city awaits you.  Meet tourists and locals who visit the fort to witness the unique tradition of the Cannon Fire Ceremony.  Since the 1700's, this event has taken place at 9 pm, signifying the closing of the city doors.  Furthermore, you may shop for souvenirs at the end of the event.

Day 2 – The Viñales Valley (Countryside)

The Viñales Valley's landscape is an impressive ecological site.  For instance, the valley is dotted with stand-alone rock formations called "mogotes."  Also, the Viñales area is one of Cuba’s most fertile areas, where some of the world’s best tobacco is grown.  Learn how tobacco is grown at a plantation.  Discover the Indian Cave and the Prehistoric Mural.  Savor a "criollo" lunch at one of Viñales private local restaurants.

Back to Havana | Dinner on your own. (Next to the Hotel there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.)

Day 3 – Travel to Cienfuegos

We will take a 4-hour drive to the province of Cienfuegos.  Known as Cuba’s Southern Pearl and considered by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the city of Cienfuegos is seductive in its beauty. Lunch at a local restaurant in Cienfuegos (included)

Check-in at Hotel.

Tour the Cienfuegos Malecon. Suggest Dinner at one of the restaurants by the water. Free night to explore on your own.


Day 4 – Cienfuegos, Transfer to Trinidad and Visit Valle de los Ingenios.

After Breakfast, drive to beautiful, colonial Trinidad.  As you walk the main boulevard, take in the elegant mix of French and Caribbean architecture. You will delight in its parks, palaces, and theaters.  Loved Cuban singer Benny More named it in his famous song, “the city I like best.” 

Lunch at a local restaurant in Cienfuegos (included)

Visit Valle de los Ingenious - This UNESCO World Heritage Site is named after the many sugar cane mills that filled the Valley. Today, guests can visit the main plantation, and look at points.

Check-in at lodging in Trinidad. Suggest One of the most unusual nightspots in Cuba, a dance club carved out of a deep two-level cave, Discoteca Ayala, also called La Cueva.

Day 5 – Trinidad town and Playa Ancon

Enjoy Playa Ancon in Trinidad

Lunch at a local restaurant (Included)

Explore the colonial Trinidad Town.

Dinner at a local restaurant (included) 

Suggest some nightlife entertainment at one of the plazas.

 

Day 6 – Drive to Havana

After breakfast, we will start our drive to Havana.

Walking tour Paseo Prado, Capito Building, Parque Central

“Paseo” (stroll) one of Havana’s most famous avenues, El Paseo de Prado.  A tree lined street with marble floors and benches, as well as bronze lions along the entrances, the paseo is the perfect place to take a relaxing walk and take in the beauty of Old Havana and the Malecon. Stop by Parque Central where you can admire the colonial architecture of the Capitol Building, Grand Teatro Alicia Alonzo.

Day 8 Goodbye Cuba!
